At the age of 30, Fujiki began teaching himself to paint after receiving a gift of oil paints. Through his daily work in the open air, his changed perspective and painting style, he became aware of the importance of consciousness and began to try to put his consciousness before the entrance of ideas and concepts. He calls this consciousness "Washiki" and tries to represent it. With this approach, Fujiki explores the "visible".
