The landscape changes every moment, but I continue to paint along with the sense of unchanging in it. The surface of the lake is transformed by the slightest position of the sun, and naturally everything changes. However, the changes seem to be flowing, but I do not feel the flow. The landscape of the moment that I capture with my eyes may be completely different from the landscape that I capture a minute later. It is easy to think of nature and plants as a one-way communication, so I don’t feel uncomfortable with the fact that the landscape I catch a minute later is completely different. It’s different when it’s a person. Our own expectations and judgments get mixed up.
