There are times when we see something and feel nostalgic or sad. It can be comforting or painful. It does not have to be a special place or phenomenon. Even the most mundane places and things we see in our daily lives have various contrasts that move our hearts, awaken our emotions, and make us imagine. I continue to look at landscapes, know what is going on in my mind at that time, and observe them through my outdoor work. I then turn these experiences into abstract paintings. I aim to create paintings that touch the viewer’s heart through a logical and intuitive fusion of elements such as saturation, lightness, and color.
