Q. I activated the plugin, but I can’t find the r_ais_data/ folder.

A. To enhance security, this plugin automatically generates a data folder “one level above” the WordPress installation directory (in a non-public area).

If the folder cannot be created in the upper directory due to server restrictions, it will automatically be created within the standard wp-content/uploads/r_ais_data/ directory instead.

To verify the status, please check “System Status” on the R_aisonné dashboard.

If the status is “×”: The folder could not be created in either location. Please check the write permissions for your directories.

If the status is “◯”: The folder has been successfully created at the path displayed.

Q. I registered my images, but the thumbnails and main images are not appearing.

A. To enable the program to load images correctly, the WordPress permalink structure must be set to /%category%/%postname%/.

Please go to the settings screen (Settings > Permalinks), update the structure, and save your changes. If images still do not appear after this configuration, please return to the “System Status” on the dashboard and re-verify the folder connection status (write permissions).

Q. How can I swap the main image and sub-images (reference images) after they have been registered?

A. Since a direct swap feature is not currently available, please delete the images from each field and then re-upload them in your preferred order.

Q. I set the “Front Page Background Image” to “Latest Work,” but the background doesn’t change.

A. Please check your WordPress Reading Settings. The “Your homepage displays” option under Settings > Readingmust be set to “A static page.” If it remains set to “Your latest posts,” the plugin’s background image settings will not be applied. Please create a static page, assign it as your homepage, and then check the display again.

Q. The map is not appearing on the work detail page.

A. First, please ensure that the “Display MAP” checkbox is enabled on the work’s edit screen.

Next, verify that the uploaded image itself contains location data (GPS data). If you are using an image that does not have GPS metadata, the map cannot be generated automatically.

Q. The changes I made in the list view are not being saved.

A. While text items in the work list can be edited directly, you must press the Enter key or click outside the editing area to confirm and commit your changes. Please note that if you navigate away from the page without confirming, your edits will not be saved.

To change or edit images, please click the “EDIT” button to open the editing modal.
